Ali MacGraw was born April 1, 1938, in Pound Ridge, New York. She is an actress who is best known for starring in the 1970 hit film Love Story and for having a steamy love affair with acting legend Steve McQueen. Ali’s performance in Love Story earned her an Academy Award nomination for Best Actress. After that, she starred in films such as The Getaway, Convoy and Just Tell Me What You Want. In 1984, she moved on to television, starring in ABC's popular soap opera Dynasty for fourteen episodes. In 2006, she transitioned to Broadway, starring in the drama Festen. Most recently, she has appeared in television commercials for Macy's. Ali has been married and divorced three times, most infamously to McQueen. The two were married to other people when they met on the set of The Getaway (she to Robert Evans, the head of Paramount Pictures; he to his wife of 15 years) and caused a scandal by leaving their respective spouses to be with each other. Ali has one son, Josh Evans, who is also in the film industry.
