Amanda Seyfried was born December 3, 1985, in Allentown, Pennsylvania. She is an actress and singer-songwriter who is best known for playing Sarah Henrickson on HBO’s hit series Big Love and for starring in the films Mamma Mia!, Dear John and Letters to Juliet. She began her acting career at age 15 by starring in soap operas like As the World Turns and All My Children. She made her film debut in 2004’s Mean Girls, after which she appeared in movies such as Nine Lives, Alpha Dog and Jennifer's Body. She has won two MTV Movie Awards for her work.
