Amy Poehler


Amy Poehler was born September 16, 1971, in Burlington, Massachusetts. She is a comedian and actress best known for being a cast member on Saturday Night Live from 2001 to 2008. For her work on the show, she earned two Emmy nominations for Outstanding Supporting Actress in a Comedy Series. During her tenure on SNL, she worked with fellow cast member Tina Fey in the films Mean Girls and Baby Mama. In 2009, Amy landed the lead role in NBC's hit comedy series Parks and Recreation. She married comic actor Will Arnett on August 29, 2003, and they have two children together.
