Andie MacDowell was born April 21, 1958, in Gaffney, South Carolina. She is a model-turned-actress who made her film debut in the 1984 film Greystoke: The Legend of Tarzan, Lord of the Apes. In 1989, she starred in the independent film Sex, Lies and Videotape, giving a breakthrough performance that won many awards, including an Independent Spirit Award and a Los Angeles Film Critics Association Award. She has since appeared in such popular movies as Groundhog Day, Green Card, Short Cuts, Four Weddings and a Funeral and Beauty Shop. Andie is currently filming two movies, Monte Carlo and a reboot of Footloose, both set to release in 2011. She has been married and divorced twice. She has three children, all with her first husband.
