Anthony Bourdain


Anthony Bourdain was born June 25, 1956, in New York, New York. He is an author, chef and TV personality who is best known for the 2000 book Kitchen Confidential: Adventures in the Culinary Underbelly. He has since written nine more books, including A Cook's Tour, No Reservations and Medium Raw: A Blood Valentine to the World of Food and the People Who Cook. After the success of Kitchen Confidential, Anthony got his own Food Network show, A Cook's Tour, which premiered in January 2002. In July 2005, his new cooking show, Anthony Bourdain: No Reservations, premiered on the Travel Channel. Anthony’s work has earned him many awards and nominations, including a Creative Arts Emmy for Outstanding Cinematography for Nonfiction Programming. He has been married twice and has been with his second wife, Ottavia Busia, since April 2007.
