Blake Lively was born August 25, 1987, in Tarzana, California. She is a model-turned-actress who is best known for starring as Serena van der Woodsen on the television series Gossip Girl since 2007, and for her portrayal of Bridget Vreeland in The Sisterhood of the Traveling Pants films.
Other movies she has appeared in include Accepted, Elvis and Anabelle, The Private Lives of Pippa Lee and The Town. Her performance on Gossip Girl earned her two Teen Choice Awards in 2008, for Choice TV Actress: Drama and Choice TV Breakout Star Female. Lively dated actor Kelly Blatz from 2004 to 2007 and has been dating actor Penn Badgley since December 2007. She is set to star opposite Ryan Reynolds in Green Lantern in 2011.
