Bono

Born Paul David Hewson on May 10, 1960 in Ireland, Bono is the lead singer for the band U2.

Outside of his music, Bono is widely known and admired his activism and humanitarian work. He co-founded DATA, EDUN, the ONE Campaign and Product Red. He has been nominated for the Nobel Peace Prize, was granted an honorary knighthood by Queen Elizabeth II and was named as a Person of the Year by Time.
