Who cares what Tom Cruise says: There ain't nothin' wrong with taking prescription drugs to overcome a raging case of postpartum depression. Pretty Baby Brooke Shields caught flack as a child actress for her sexualized image, but she never let it get between her and her Calvins! Numerous films later (and a diploma from Princeton), Brooke (born on May 31, 1965, in New York City) crossed over to sitcom stardom in Suddenly Susan (1996-2000). In 2008, the six-foot, thick-browed mom and wife landed a leading role in NBC's Lipstick Jungle.
