Cam Gigandet


Cam was born in Tacoma, Washington and graduated high school in 2001 from Auburn Senior High School in Auburn, Washington. Immediately after graduating, he moved to Los Angeles and attended Santa Monica College, where he took his first acting class. In 2003, Gigandet earned his first role and made his television debut playing Mark Young on the fourth season of CSI: Crime Scene Investigation. He also appeared in “The Young and the Restless,” “Jack & Bobby,” and his most famous television performance – “The OC,” where he played Kevin Volochok. He also starred in the films, “Mistaken,” “Whose Your Caddy?” and “Never Back Down.” In 2008 he played the role of James in the blockbuster “Twilight.” In 2008, he received several awards, such as the “One to Watch” award, given to him at the 10th Annual Young Hollywood Awards. Home Entertainment also awarded the “Rising Male Star of the Year” to Gigandet. Most recently, he received the 2009 MTV Movie Award for “Best Fight” from the movie “Twilight.” However, his proudest achievement is probably the April 14, 2009 birth of his daughter Everleigh Rae Gigandet with his actress girlfriend, Dominique Geisendorff.
