Colin Firth

Colin Firth was born September 10, 1960, in Hampshire, England. He is an Oscar-nominated actor who is best known for his roles in the films A Single Man, Love Actually, Shakespeare in Love, Mamma Mia! and Bridget Jones’s Diary and its sequel. His other notable films include Girl with a Pearl Earring, The English Patient and Nanny McPhee. Colin’s work has earned him 21 award nominations. On June 21, 1997, he married Livia Giuggioli; they have two children together. He is currently filming Tinker, Tailor, Soldier, Spy and The Promised Land, both of which are set to release in 2011.
