Courteney Cox


Courteney Cox was born June 15, 1964, in Birmingham, Alabama. She is an actress who is best known for playing Monica Geller on the long-running hit TV series Friends from 1994 to 2004. Over the years, the cast was nominated for seven Screen Actors Guild awards, winning one. Former cast mate Jennifer Aniston is still Courteney’s best friend. Courteney started acting in the mid-’80s with roles in television series such as Family Ties, The Love Boat and Murder, She Wrote. Since then, she has appeared in films such as Ace Ventura: Pet Detective and the Scream movies. In 2007 and 2008, she starred in the TV series Dirt, and in 2009, she began producing and starring in the series Cougar Town, for which she was nominated for a 2010 Golden Globe. Courteney married Scream costar David Arquette on June 12, 1999, and they have a daughter named Coco. In October 2010, the couple announced that they have separated.
