Damon Wayans


Damon Wayans was born on September 4, 1960, in New York, New York. Wayans is a stand-up comedian, writer, actor and one of the Wayans brothers (along with Dwayne, Shawn, Marlon and Keenen). Damon had a clubbed foot as a child, and this characteristic was given to his character in both the sitcom My Wife and Kids and the cartoon series Waynehead. Damon started his career in stand-up comedy in 1982. He made his big-screen debut in Eddie Murphy's Beverly Hills Cop, but got his big break appearing in older brother Keenen’s sketch-comedy show, In Living Color. After that, he starred in films like The Last Boy Scout, Major Payne and The Great White Hype. Wayans was married to Lisa Thorner, but the couple divorced in 2000. He is the father of four kids: Damon Jr., Michael, Cara Mia and Kyla.
