Dominic Monaghan was born to British parents on December 8, 1976, in Berlin, Germany. He is an actor who is best known for playing hobbit Merry Brandybuck in Peter Jackson’s Oscar-winning film trilogy The Lord of the Rings, and for starring as Charlie Pace on the hit television drama Lost from 2004 to 2010. Dominic has been romantically involved with Lost costar Evangeline Lily since 2004.
