Dustin Hoffman was born August 8, 1937, in Los Angeles, California. The legendary actor has won many awards, including two Academy Awards, an Emmy, four Drama Desk Awards and six Golden Globes, including a 1997 Cecil B. DeMille Award. He also received the AFI Life Achievement Award in 1999. Dustin’s breakthrough role was starring as Ben Braddock in the 1967 Oscar-winning film The Graduate. He then went on to star in such critically acclaimed films as Rain Man, Tootsie, All the President’s Men, Midnight Cowboy, Little Big Man, Kramer vs. Kramer, Marathon Man, Wag the Dog and Meet the Fockers. He married second wife Lisa Gottsegen in 1980. He has six children.
