Ellen Barkin


Ellen Barkin was born April 16, 1952, in the Bronx, New York. Her breakout role was in the beloved 1982 Barry Levinson film Diner. She subsequently starred in films such as Tender Mercies, Eddie and the Cruisers, The Big Easy, Johnny Handsome, The Fan, Wild Bill, Sea of Love and Oceans Thirteen. She also starred in the acclaimed 1997 miniseries Before Women Had Wings, for which she was nominated for a Golden Globe and won the Emmy for Best Actress. Ellen has two children with her first husband, actor Gabriel Byrne. She was married to investor Ronald Perelman from 2000 to 2006.
