Emmy Rossum


Emmy Rossum was born September 12, 1986, in New York, New York. The actress and singer-songwriter got her start in the early 2000s with movies such as Songcatcher, An American Rhapsody and Passionada. In 2003, she earned critical acclaim for her performance in the film Mystic River, after which she landed starring roles in films such as The Day after Tomorrow, The Phantom of the Opera, Poseidon, Dragonball: Evolution and Dare. In 2007, she released her debut album, Inside Out. Emmy was briefly married to Justin Siegel and is currently dating Counting Crows lead singer Adam Duritz.
