Jenny McCarthy

Jenny McCarthy was born November 1, 1972, in Chicago, Illinois. She is a model, television personality and advocate for autism education. To help pay for college, Jenny posed for Playboy and eventually was named Playmate of the Year for 1994. In 1995, she became a co-host of MTV’s dating show Singled Out. After that, she was given her own sketch-comedy show on MTV, called Jenny. Since then, she has appeared in a number of films and television shows. She married John Mallory Asher in 1999, and the two had a son in 2002. Jenny’s son was diagnosed with autism, and she later wrote a book called Louder than Words: A Mother's Journey in Healing Autism, in which she discussed her trials and tribulations in dealing with her son’s condition. She dated actor Jim Carrey from 2005 to 2010.
