Jeremy Piven was born July 26, 1965, in New York, New York. He is most famous for his Emmy-winning role as Hollywood agent Ari Gold on HBO’s hit show Entourage. Jeremy grew up in Evanston, Illinois, and studied acting at his parents’ theater workshop. He attended Drake University and then spent a semester at the National Theater Institute. He has starred in a number of movies with John Cusack, including Say Anything and Serendipity. In 2008, he was involved in a controversy while starring in the play Speed the Plow: He missed a number of shows and eventually dropped out, attributing it to mercury poisoning from eating too much sushi.
