Jimmy Buffett


Jimmy Buffett was born December 25, 1946, in Pascagoula, Mississippi. He is a famous singer and songwriter. Jimmy spent the majority of his childhood in Alabama and started playing the guitar while attending college at the University of Southern Mississippi. He began performing as a country artist in the late 1960s. He is best known for his hit songs “Margaritaville” and “The Piña Colada Song.” He is also involved with the Margaritaville chain of restaurants. He is married to Jane Slagsvol, and they have two daughters.
