Joey Fatone

Although not as famous as his former *NSYNC bandmate Justin Timberlake, Joey Fatone's dancing feet have made a name for him. Although Joey was born a Brooklyn baby on January 28, 1977, he spent his high school years in Orlando, Florida, where he made his first public appearance as a rocking Wolfman in ‘Beetlejuice’s Graveyard Revue’ at Universal Studios Florida. In 1995, Joey joined *NSYNC. At first the boy band struggled for airplay, but their second album, 2000’s No Strings Attached, sold 2.4 million copies in its first week of release and by the end of the year, it had sold over 9.9 million copies, the most albums ever sold in a single year. After the group’s third album, Celebrity, the band split. Joey took on a supporting role in the indie film sensation My Big Fat Greek Wedding and appeared on Broadway in Rent and Little Shop of Horrors. In 2007, Joey’s talented tootsies landed him as a competitor on ABC’s Dancing with the Stars, where he and partner Kym Johnson came in second. After working in a band with Justin Timberlake, Joey already knew what it felt like to be in second place. Joey still covers the red carpet for the TV Guide Channel and remains a talk show favorite. He was even able to laugh at his infamous nickname by lending his voice to the Robot Chicken sketch, ‘Return of the Fat One.’
