Coming from the town of Minot, North Dakota, Josh Duhamel has gambled and won - with an Emmy, a hit TV series and a Black Eyed Pea under his belt. Josh, born on born November 14, 1972, made his first impression in the world of fashion, beating out fellow competitor Ashton Kutcher and winning the title of Male Model of the Year in an IMTA modeling competition in 1997. In 1999, Josh joined the cast of the venerable ABC soap opera All My Children, as romantic schemer Leo du Pres. His performance on the show—and chemistry with co-star Rebecca Budig—earned him a Daytime Emmy for Outstanding Supporting Actor in 2002.
Later that year, Josh left the soap, and in 2003 was cast as casino security agent Danny McCoy on the NBC drama Las Vegas. He succeeded Godfather actor James Caan as president of the fictitious Montecito casino after Caan left the show at the end of the fourth season. When pop group Black Eyed Peas made a guest appearance on the show in 2004, Josh became smitten with the groupâ€™s female singer, Stacy â€˜Fergieâ€™ . The two began dating and, in 2007, announced their engagement. In addition to his successful love life, Josh is making his move to the big screen in Win a Date with Tad Hamilton!, Turistas and Transformers.
