Josh Hartnett

Professional success has come seemingly easy for actor Josh Hartnett, but love…not so much. Joshua Daniel Hartnett was born on July 21, 1978, in San Francisco, California, but grew up in St. Paul, Minnesota. His dreams of being a football star were shattered in high school, along with his knee. Josh’s first role of note was on the 1997 ABC television series Cracker. Josh jumped to the multiplex playing Jamie Lee Curtis’ son in the horror nostalgia flick Halloween: H20. Since then, Josh has taken on a variety of roles, from a '70s-era high-school heartthrob and the object of Kirsten Dunst’s affection in Sofia Coppola’s feature-length directorial debut, The Virgin Suicides, to a guy who swears off of sex during Lent in 40 Days and 40 Nights. Josh joined Ben Affleck, Kate Beckinsale and Jennifer Garner in the WWII epic Pearl Harbor and recently appeared in Lucky Number Slevin and the vampire chiller 30 Days of Night. The handsome ex-athlete makes daring and different choices in his career, such as the upcoming drug-smuggling drama Queen of the South with Eva Mendes and the fantasy action Bunraku with Demi Moore and Woody Harrelson. If only he could meet Miss Right - his past relationships, with Scarlett Johansson and singer Rihanna, just didn’t work out. With his winning looks and tons of talent, he shouldn’t be on the market for long.
