Kathy Griffin


Kathy Griffin was born November 4, 1960, in Chicago, Illinois. She is an Emmy-winning actress and comedian who has her own reality show, My Life on the D-List, on Bravo. Kathy moved to Los Angeles in the 1980s to pursue a career in stand-up comedy. In 1996, she had her own stand-up special on HBO and began starring on the sitcom Suddenly Susan, which she appeared on until 2000. Kathy has continued her stand-up career with many specials on HBO and Bravo. In 2007, My Life on the D-List won the Emmy for Outstanding Reality Program, and she created controversy by stating that the award was her “god.” She is known for her self-deprecating humor, as well as for mocking celebrities and her relationship with her mother. She has had many plastic surgery procedures, including liposuction and rhinoplasty. She is also known for being a gay rights advocate. Kathy married Matt Moline in 2001, but they divorced in 2006 after she found out he had been stealing money from her. She was later rumored to be dating Steve Wozniak and Levi Johnston.
