Kellan Lutz is an American film and television actor, who is best known for playing Emmett Cullen in the teen sensation Twilight. Before acting, he was an Abercrombie & Fitch model.

He was born in Dickinson, North Dakota, and was raised throughout North Dakota, the Midwest, and Arizona. He started modeling when he was 13 or 14 years old. After graduating high school he moved to California to attend Chapman University for chemical engineering, but later decided to pursue an acting career instead. He also considered becoming a Navy SEAL!
