Kellie Pickler


Kellie Pickler was born June 28, 1986, in Ablemarle, North Carolina. She is a country singer who competed on the fifth season of American Idol. Kellie’s mother abandoned her when she was little, and Kellie was raised by her grandmother. She auditioned for Idol in 2005 and made it all the way to the top 12. She was voted off in the sixth week of competition. Kellie was seen as very ditzy and had a very naïve demeanor. In 2006, she released the successful single “Red High Heels,” and she has since collaborated with her close friend Taylor Swift. She also released the single “Best Days of Your Life” in 2008. She won three CMT Music Awards for her video “I Wonder.” Kellie has been engaged to Kyle Jacobs since 2010.
