Kelly Rowland


Kelly Rowland was born February 11, 1981, in Atlanta, Georgia. She is a dancer and singer who was a member of one of the bestselling female groups of all time, Destiny’s Child. Kelly began performing with Destiny’s Child in the early 1990s. They started off singing gospel music and got their first big break in 1999 when they released their second CD, The Writing’s on the Wall. It featured hit singles such as “Say My Name” and “No, No, No.” Other hit songs from the group include “Survivor” and “Bootylicious.” Kelly began working on her solo career in 2002 and released the song “Dilemma” with Nelly. Kelly’s solo albums include Simply Deep and Ms. Kelly. She has also acted in sitcoms such as The Hughleys and the film The Seat Filler. In 2009, she became the host of The Fashion Show on Bravo. She got engaged to football player Roy Williams in 2004, but they broke up in 2006.
