Kevin Bacon


Kevin Bacon was born July 8, 1958, in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania. He is an actor who has been acting for nearly three decades. Kevin’s first acting role was in the film Animal House in 1978. After that, he began starring in a number of theater productions; his breakout film role occurred in 1984 when he starred in Footloose. Since then, he has appeared in many films, such as Flatliners, The River Wild and Apollo 13. Kevin has worked with so many different actors that he served as the inspiration for a trivia game, “Six Degrees of Kevin Bacon.” He won a Golden Globe for his work in the made-for-TV movie Taking Chance. Kevin married actress Kyra Sedgwick in 1988 and they have a son and a daughter together.
