Kevin Costner was born January 18, 1955, in Lynwood, California. He is an Academy Award-winning actor and director. Kevin grew up in Orange County and graduated from California State University, Fullerton in 1978. Kevin’s first breakout role was in the film The Untouchables. Since then, he has starred in a number of films, including Bull Durham, Field of Dreams, Dances with Wolves and The Bodyguard. He won an Academy Award for directing Dances with Wolves and has since directed other projects, such as Waterworld and The Postman. Kevin was married to his college sweetheart, Cindy Silva, from 1978 until 1994, and they had three children together. He married Christine Baumgartner in 2004, and they have three children together.
