Kim Basinger was born December 8, 1953, in Atlanta, Georgia. She is an Academy Award-winning actress. Before she began acting in films such as The Natural and 9½ Weeks, Kim started out as a model. Some of Kim’s other films include Batman and Never Say Never Again. In 1998, she won the Oscar for Best Supporting Actress for her role in L.A. Confidential. Since then, she has starred in movies such as 8 Mile, Cellular and Charlie St. Cloud. Kim was married to Ron Snyder from 1980 to 1989, and then married actor Alec Baldwin in 1993. They had one daughter, Ireland, together, but went through a bitter divorce in 2002. Kim has famously struggled with agoraphobia.
