Lou Diamond Phillips


Lou Diamond Phillips was born February 17, 1962, in the Philippines. He is an actor who has starred in films such as Stand and Deliver, Courage Under Fire and Young Guns. Lou’s first big film role was starring as singer Ritchie Valens in the 1987 biopic La Bamba. In 1996, he starred in a Broadway production of The King and I, which earned him a Tony nomination. He guest-starred in the TV crime drama Numb3rs nine times from 2005 to 2010, and in 2009, he won the reality competition I’m a Celebrity ... Get Me Out of Here! Lou was married to Julie Cypher from 1987 until 1990, when she left him for singer Melissa Etheridge. He briefly dated actress Jennifer Tilly before marrying Penthouse model Kelly Preston Phillips. The two had twin daughters before divorcing in 2007.
