Intelligent and sexy, Matt Damon continues to be a huge box office draw thanks to his looks, sense of humor and acting skill - how do you like them apples? Born on October 8, 1970 in Cambridge, Massachusetts, Matt’s smarts got him into prestigious Harvard University in 1988. He was 12 credits shy of graduation when he decided to move to Los Angeles to pursue an acting career. His first sizable role was in the 1992 drama School Ties with Brendan Fraser and Chris O’Donnell. He went on to make other films, but it took a screenplay he wrote with his childhood friend, Ben Affleck to catapult Matt to stardom. Good Will Hunting received nine Academy Awards nominations, earning Matt and Ben Oscars for Best Original Screenplay. Matt was also nominated for an Academy Award for Best Actor for his role as a mathematically gifted janitor and the film grossed over $100 million at the box office. Matt’s career took off with subsequent roles in Saving Private Ryan, The Talented Mr. Ripley and Dogma. His screen presence has also aided the success of two of Hollywood’s most successful franchises. As the youthful, optimistic thief Linus Caldwell, Matt joined George Clooney, Brad Pitt, and Julia Roberts in the Oceans series, including 2001’s Ocean's Eleven, Ocean's Twelve in 2004 and Ocean's Thirteen in 2007. His most successful and memorable role to date is amnesiac assassin Jason Bourne, who he’s played in The Bourne Identity, The Bourne Supremacy, and The Bourne Ultimatum - all of which were huge box-office winners. In addition to being the sexiest man alive for 2007, Matt is also one of the sexiest Dads alive. He met his wife, Argentinean Luciana Bozan Barroso in Miami, where she was working as a bartender. They married were married on December 9, 2005 and had their first child together, daughter Isabella, on June 11, 2006 - and a second baby’s on the way. Matt most recently secured his place in pop culture history thanks to The Jimmy Kimmel Show. On the January 31, 2008 episode of the show, celebrating the talk show host’s birthday, Kimmel’s girlfriend Sarah Silverman created a video greeting for him, featuring the song ‘I’m F**king Matt Damon,’ which became a viral video sensation. Kimmel later countered with his video ‘I’m F**king Ben Affleck.’ With a fourth Bourne film in the works, Matt will soon add another hit to his already over-stuffed resume.
