Miranda Kerr

Heaven must be missing an angel - and her name is Miranda Kerr. This Australian-born (on April 20, 1983) beauty has risen to fame as one of lingerie giant Victoria's Secret's models, known as Angels, after their most popular line of intimate apparel. At 13, she won a nationwide modeling contest in Australia and soon after began modeling throughout Australia and Japan, making a splash modeling swim wear for such high-profile surf brands as Billabong and Roxy. 

She moved to New York and signed a contract with Next modeling agency in 2004. It took her no time at all to get gigs and was soon modeling on the runway and in print ads for such labels as Betsey Johnson, L.A.M.B. and Roberto Cavalli. In 2006, she appeared in a campaign for cosmetic giant Maybelline, which led her to being signed as Victoria's Secret's first Australian Angel, with prominent appearances on the company's web site and on the famous televised runway shows.

Recently, she has modeled for retail chain Arden B. and appeared in ads for Clinque's fragrance Happy. In 2008, Miranda became a household name as she began a romantic relationship with Pirates of the Caribbean star Orlando Bloom. With a high-profile romance and her angelic features, America's got a standing date with this angel.
