Even though she's not a designer (yet), magazine editor, or photographer, 'stylist to the stars' Rachel Zoe has become one of the most influential names in fashion. Rachel Zoe Rosenzweig, the daughter of art collector parents, was born on September 1, 1971 in New York. At 13, her mother took her to Paris, where her love affair with fashion was cemented when she bought her first Louis Vuitton bag. She went on to study sociology and psychology at George Washington University where she met her husband, Roger Berman, an investment banker. After graduation, she moved to New York and worked with magazines Gotham and YM before striking out on her own as a celebrity stylist. Her first clients included the Backstreet Boys, Britney Spears, and Jessica Simpson. She eventually moved out to Los Angeles with her husband and in 2004, got a job working for Nicole Richie, who, at the time was Paris Hilton's sidekick on the reality TV show The Simple Life. Rachel continues her reign in the fashion spotlight, releasing her own style guide Style A to Zoe: The Art of Fashion, Beauty, and Everything Glamour in 2007. After appearances on The Simple Life and Project Runway, she is currently working on her own reality series for the Bravo network and is working on developing her own line of clothing and accessories.
