Richie Sambora was born July 11, 1959, in Perth Amboy, New Jersey. He is a musician who is best known for being the lead guitarist of the rock band Bon Jovi. Along with frontman Jon Bon Jovi, Richie writes all the band’s lyrics and music. The group released their debut album, Bon Jovi, in 1984, and have since gone on to release over ten more albums. In 1991, Richie debuted his solo career with the album Stranger in This Town. From 1994 to 2006, he was married to actress Heather Locklear, with whom he has one daughter. After that, he dated Denise Richards for about a year.
