Rob Reiner


Rob Reiner was born March 6, 1947, in the Bronx, New York. He is an actor, director, producer and political activist who is best known for playing Michael “Meathead” Stivic on the beloved ’70s TV series All in the Family. Rob was trained at the UCLA film school. After All in the Family ended, he went on to direct hit movies such as Stand by Me, When Harry Met Sally..., A Few Good Men, Sleepless in Seattle, Ghosts of Mississippi and The Bucket List. From 1971 to 1981, he was married to actor/director Penny Marshall. In 1989, he married Michelle Singer, with whom he has three children. He is the cofounder of the American Foundation for Equal Rights.
