Robbie Williams was born February 13, 1974, in Staffordshire, England. He is a singer-songwriter who joined the pop group Take That in 1990. Their debut album, Take That & Party, was released in 1992. Robbie stayed with the group through the release of two more albums—Everything Changes and Nobody Else—then left in 1995 to launch a solo career. His debut album, Life Thru a Lens, was released in 1997. Robbie went on to release seven more solo albums before reuniting with Take That in 2010. That same year, the group released the album Progress. Robbie has won more BRIT Awards than any other artist in history and has sold more than 55 million records worldwide. In the course of his career, he has openly battled mental illness, alcoholism and substance abuse. He has been dating Ayda Field since 2007.
