Roger Moore


Roger Moore was born October 14, 1927, in London, England. He is best known for replacing Sean Connery in the James Bond film franchise. His starring role on the popular 1960s TV series The Saint put him on the map, though he had previously starred in other shows. Roger played fictional British secret agent James Bond in seven films from 1973 to 1985. He has been married four times and married his current wife, Christina “Kiki” Tholstrup, in 2002. Roger moved to America in 1953 after serving in the British military during World War II. He was knighted by the Queen in 1999, and in May of 2000 he received an International Humanitarian Award from the London Variety Club.
