Ron Livingston was born June 5, 1967, in Cedar Rapids, Iowa. He is an actor whose career took off with a starring role in the 1999 movie Office Space; before that, he studied theater and English literature at Yale University. His film debut was in the 1992 Dolly Parton movie Straight Talk. After moving to Los Angeles in 1993, he began working on bigger projects, such as Swingers; he also starred in eight episodes of Sex and the City. Most recently, he has been the spokesman for Sprint Nextel telecommunications. Ron married Rosemarie DeWitt in 2009.
