Shannen Doherty

Shannen Doherty was born April 12, 1971, in Memphis, Tennessee. The actress is best known for her starring roles in the 1989 film Heathers and the popular long-running TV series Beverly Hills, 90210 and Charmed. Shannen started acting in small roles on television in 1981; her career didn’t really take off until Heathers. After that, she landed the starring role of Brenda Walsh on Beverly Hills, 90210; she was on the show from 1990 to 1994. Four years later, she got the part of Prue Halliwell in Charmed, appearing on the show from 1998 to 2001. After leaving Charmed, she starred on the short-lived soap opera North Shore. From 2008 to 2009, Shannen reprised the role of Brenda Walsh on the CW’s Beverly Hills, 90210 reboot, 90210. Her most recent television appearance came on season 10 of Dancing with the Stars. She was the first star eliminated. Shannen was married to Ashley Hamilton for five months and filed for divorce in 1994. She later married Rick Salomon; however, the marriage was annulled after Salomon’s sex tape with Paris Hilton was leaked on the Internet. Shannen was in an on-again, off-again relationship with director Rob Weiss from 1994 to 2000. She served three years of probation for drunk driving back in 2001.
