Stanley Kubrick


Stanley Kubrick was born July 26, 1928, in New York, New York. The Oscar-winning film director, producer and photographer is best known for 2001: A Space Odyssey. He also directed the groundbreaking films Dr. Strangelove, A Clockwork Orange, Barry Lyndon, The Shining and Full Metal Jacket. Five of his films were nominated for Academy Awards. He was married three times and was with his last wife, Christiane Harlan, from 1958 until his death on March 7, 1999. The film mogul is considered to be one of the greatest directors and producers of all time.
