Stanley Tucci was born November 11, 1960, in Peekskill, New York. The actor, director and producer is best known for his performance in 2009’s The Lovely Bones, for which he won the Academy Award for Best Supporting Actor. In 1982, Stanley made his Broadway debut in The Queen and the Rebels. In 2006, he made an appearance in the TV series Monk. He has also starred in the films The Devil Wears Prada, Julie & Julia, Big Night and Captain America: The First Avenger, and made several appearances on the hit TV drama ER. His latest project is directing Meryl Streep and Tina Fey in Mommy & Me. His wife, Kate, died of cancer in 2009.
