Born in Hollywood, California, soap opera star Ted King is best known for portraying the roles of 'Luis Alcazar' and 'Lorenzo Alcazar' on ABC's General Hospital. Here are some more fun facts about the actor: • In 2002, he made his appearance on General Hospital as 'Luis'. His character was murdered on the show several months later, and he returned in 2003 as Luis' twin brother, 'Lorenzo'. This character was killed off in 2007. • In 2006, King had emergency throat surgery. • He has guest-starred in shows such as Frasier, Sex and the City and Law & Order: Special Victims Unit. • He co-founded the Portal Theater Company, an off-Broadway repertory company. There he directed “Beggars in the House of Plenty,” written by John Patrick Shanley. • He is active in the charitable organization, Make-A-Wish Foundation
