Timothy Z. Mosley was born on March 10, 1971, in Norfolk, Virginia, where he became friends with Missy Elliott and Melvin 'Magoo' Barcliff. He started composing tracks on a Casio keyboard at an early age. Timba's knack for creating unique urban and hip hop beats took him from the beaches of Virgina to the hills of Beverly. He's produced some of the catchiest chart toppers in recent ubiquity, with Aaliyah, Missy Elliott, Justin Timberlake, Beck, Brandy and Snoop Dogg all swearing allegiance.
