Aftertaste: A Bitch Reflects.
The only bad tastes left in my mouth (after brushing my teeth) were from Jessica Biel’s nasty drippy-droopy dress, a shot I saw of Lisa Rinna (holy My Little Pony!), and yes, I’m still feeling pissy about “young Hollywood” being over-represented. This wasn't the effing Kids Choice awards, and I’m sorry, but I do not think miss Miley Cyrus is the coming generation of Oscar Winners (though she did mention she hopes her upcoming film, “Hannah Montana: The Movie,” may garner her an Oscar this time next year. Yeah Miley, I think that the movie about your t.v show for kids is really going to gain you critical acclaim as an actor.)
I know it’s all done for ratings and pulling younger viewers, but seriously, Miley Cyrus? Vanessa Hudgens? Sharing the stage with seasoned actors? I’m a little grossed out. If you want “young Hollywood” to be there, why not whip out Dakota Fanning, Abigail Breslin, or Daniel Radcliffe? I know, they’re not as flashy, as slutty, or as dreamy. They aren’t “panty creamers,” as some might say and maybe they WOULDN’t drum up high ratings. But at least they’re known for acting, not just Teen Beat(-off).
In a year that seemed to strive for a rebirth of class and old Hollywood glamour, I think they should’ve featured the next generation of real actors, instead of pandering to the teeniebopper crowd. Though I must say, I am not poo-pooing on Robert Pattinson because he is a DREAM BOAT!!! Mmm. Tall and creepy, just got out of bed. Just my flavor. -

Sure, a lot of talented people. I usually LOVE Beyonce performing. Amanda Seyfried is adorable and reminds me of a young Goldie Hawn. Hugh Jackman can dance and I certainly can watch him. I don’t want to write much about Zac and Vanessa, but I will say if they have to be doing anything in public, I’m most O.K with it being something musical. But a lot of nice oil paint does not necessarily a masterpiece make. You have think about what to do with it, not just have a squirt party. Ew, squirt party.

So, young Hollywood. Tonight you are in full-effect and I couldn't care less. How did they get invited to this party? Shouldn't they be posting slutty pictures of themselves online or manicuring their eyebrows? (respectively)
Miley's dress which she "knew immediately" was the one is indeed a piece of work. She looks like a shimmering head of ice cabbage, ready to be plucked. (She also has the CPKF* to go with it.)
