Zac Efron

Zachary David Alexander Efron was born on October 18, 1987, in San Luis Obispo, California. Though he'd humbly labored in big- and small-screen roles from most distant childhood, Zac became pinup king of the teen scene with his mascara-assisted performance in 2006's High School Musical and, inevitably, High School Musical 2. Zac followed up that kiddie fare with the decidedly more sophisticated and awards-laden Hairspray. Even though he has been romantically linked to female costar Vanessa Hudgens, Zac has said his biggest influence is Liza Minnelli.
