Zachary Israel Braff was born on April 6, 1975, in South Orange, New Jersey. Made famous by appearing as Dr. John 'J.D.' Dorian on the long-running, accolade-driven NBC series Scrubs, droopy-eyed Zach received critical acclaim for his debut film, Garden State, which he wrote, starred in and directed. He dated Mandy Moore and is a big fan of Ricky Gervais. With a slate of acting, writing and directing projects in the pipeline, the guy really is a triple threat, although not to Ricky Gervais.
