Celebs Cheer on the Lakers For Finals Opener

The Staples Center in downtown Los Angeles boasted even more star power than usual on Thursday night, as show biz's finest came out in force to cheer on the Los Angeles Lakers during the first night of the NBA Finals.

Hills defector Lauren Conrad and her boyfriend, My Boys actor Kyle Howard, were on hand for the showdown between the Lakers and the Orlando Magic, as were rapper Kanye West, Jessica Simpson and her Dallas Cowboys beau Tony Romo, ardent Lakers supporter Leonardo DiCaprio, One Tree Hill actress Sophia Bush and Good Charlotte rocker Benji Madden.

In the end it seems that the A-List supporters gave their home team a big boost; the Lakers whooped the Magic 100-75.

I'm hoping for an earthquake to strike the Staples Center, whereby wiping out both the Magic and the Lakers in one swoop. So I guess you could say I'm rooting for Mother Nature.
