Charlize Theron and Jennifer Lopez Get Clothes-Minded
Mega-diva-turned-mother Jennifer Lopez and South African-born stunner Charlize Theron were just two of the style inclined stars to attend the unveiling of John Galliano‘s Cruise 2009 collection for Christian Dior in New York yesterday.
The fashion premiere might have taken place at Gustavino’s, a restaurant under the 59th Street bridge, but there was a noticeable absence of trolls in attendance. Charlize looked lovely in a chest-showcasing, purple ruffled number, while J.Lo turned up in an eye-catching white coat that reminded everyone in view that she is the essence of purity, light and goodness (as if such a reminder was necessary).
Lopez seemed particularly impressed with the Mediterranean-themed line, which is marked by wide pants, ruffled tops and loose baby-doll dresses.
“Everything was so colorful,” marveled the singer-actress-dancer-breeder, who was in attendance with her husband Marc Anthony.
And roomy enough, no doubt, to obscure the physical ravages of a recent twin birth.
Joining Lopez and Theron at the gala were Christina Aguilera and hubby Jordan Bratman, along with Gossip Girl‘s Leighton Meester.
