Charlize Theron is one lucky leading lady. The South African bombshell has her run of the A-List acting stable.

Having just palled around with Will Smith in Hancock, and previous big-screen encounters with Robert De Niro, Mark Wahlberg and Tobey Maguire, Theron has her sights set on Mr. Katie Holmes.

Tom Cruise and Theron are in talks to star in The Tourist, an American update to a French thriller that would see Theron as a sexy Interpol agent using Cruise as pawn in some kind of wicked game.

Shooting is slated for March pending a script revise and, naturally, both stars on board.

And why wouldn't they be? With Cruise's recent competition for the big roles and Theron's lack of luck in the drama department since her Oscar win, the pair would be crazy not to team for a high-profile, espionage potboiler.
