Chris Brown: Fake Tears at the BET Awards? (VIDEO)
Don't cry for Chris Brown. He apparently has stage props to do that for him.
The "I Can Transform Ya" singer delivered a teary-eyed performance of Michael Jackson's "Man in the Mirror" at Sunday's BET Awards, but according to a source, Brown's lachrymosity might not have been so much the product of heartfelt emotion, but of tear-inducing eye drops administered by his bodyguards.
According to a source familiar with the performance,
"He rubbed it in and he started crying."
Huh; if Chris wanted to work up a crying jag, you'd think he could have just looked at the sales numbers of his latest album.
For the record, Brown's rep denies the allegation, calling it "completely untrue." Of course, celebrity reps say a lot of things.
